What it does

Ibelick's free set of UI skills for coding agents: a quick clean-up pass for AI-looking interfaces, accessibility, metadata and animation-performance fixes, a read-only UI audit, and a CLI plus MCP registry so your agent pulls just the one or two skills a job needs.

UI Skills started as one SKILL.md of rules about the things that go wrong when agents build interfaces, and grew into a small library plus a registry. The repo ships nine skills of its own: baseline-ui (a quick clean-up…

A prompt to try

/baseline-ui src/app/pricing/page.tsx: list the violations with the exact lines, why each matters, and the fix, then apply only the spacing and typography fixes.

Written by us so you can reuse it. Replace each [bracket] with your details.

Step by step

  1. Open the GitHub repo and read what each of the nine skills in skills/ does.
  2. Run npx ui-skills start in your project, or add https://www.ui-skills.com/mcp as an MCP server so your agent can list and fetch skills itself.
  3. For a quick clean-up, fetch one skill with npx ui-skills get baseline-ui and ask your agent to apply it to a page.
  4. For a bigger review, use improve-ui: it only writes plans into design-plans/, so read them before another agent applies the changes.

Watch out for

The registry also lists skills written by other people (shown with their GitHub names), so read a third-party skill before you load it. baseline-ui is opinionated (Tailwind, motion/react, Base UI or Radix): skip rules that fight your own stack.
