How we verify every entry
Anyone can say "curated". Here is exactly what we check, and every entry page shows its own checklist and the date it was last checked.
Skills: must have a working GitHub repo
| Check | Required? | How |
|---|---|---|
| GitHub repo is live | Yes | We load the repo page; dead or private repos are removed. |
| Not archived | Yes | Archived repos are removed. |
| Clear install path | Yes | We pull the install command from the README, or write numbered steps. |
| Updated in the last 6 months | Shown | Last push date from GitHub. |
| Automatic safety scan | Shown | We download the repo and read its SKILL.md, scripts and code for risky patterns: piping downloaded scripts into a shell, deleting folders, reading SSH keys or browser data, hidden encoded code, sending secrets out. Findings are listed on the page. |
| License stated | Shown | From GitHub. |
Agent use cases: must be reproducible
| Check | Required? | How |
|---|---|---|
| Original source is online | Yes | We open the original post or article. If it's gone, the entry goes. |
| Real agent or tool, linked | Yes | "Some custom agent" with no build details is rejected. |
| Full prompt included | Yes | A complete prompt you can copy, with [brackets] for your details and an "ask me before acting" step. |
| Step-by-step setup | Yes | At least 3 steps. |
| How it went | Shown | What the source says happened, including what didn't work. |
| Evidence | Shown | A video of the result, or more than one independent source. |
Every entry
- Written in our own words, with credit and a link to the original author. Entries found through other directories say so.
- No people's faces in thumbnails (automatic face detection plus a human look).
- Levels: Verified = all required checks pass. Strong = Verified plus extra evidence (popular, maintained and scan-clean repo; or video / several sources).
What we exclude
- "Comment X and I'll DM you" posts with no public way to get it.
- Model benchmarks and tips that aren't a workflow you can repeat.
- Dead, archived or empty repos; link lists (we split them into single repos).
- Anything we can't credit.
Re-checks
Links and repos are re-checked regularly. Problems are flagged on the entry, and entries that stay broken are removed. Spot a problem? Every page has a report link.
