A prompt to try

/start — I want a small 2D roguelike in Godot 4. Use the minimal rigor level and get a playable prototype first.

Written by us so you can reuse it. Replace each [bracket] with your details.

Step by step

  1. Clone the template as your game folder: git clone https://github.com/Donchitos/Claude-Code-Game-Studios.git my-game
  2. Open Claude Code in that folder (not a subfolder, or the hooks and safety rules are skipped).
  3. Type /start and answer its questions about your game and engine (Godot, Unity or Unreal).
  4. Pick a rigor level in project.yaml: "minimal" gets to playable code fastest.

Watch out for

At the "standard" level it writes many documents before any game code; the author's own test found the extra paperwork did not make a better game, so start on "minimal". It installs hooks that run on commits and pushes. Different from agency-agents and wshobson/agents, which are general role packs, not a game workflow.
