makerskills castmate: Claude hands the copy to Gemini
A 23-second terminal recording: asked to let Gemini write a hero headline, Claude Code loads castmate, tests the Gemini CLI, makes a new branch, has Gemini write the copy into index.html, then reads the diff and reports that only the two placeholder lines changed.
Install command copied from the project README. Check the README for the latest version.
What it does
Corey Haines' free pack of 23 agent skills for running a small business yourself: think through decisions, research with sources, keep a second brain, do money check-ins, draft decks, find domains, and hand jobs to Codex or Gemini from inside your agent with castmate.
makerskills is Corey Haines' second skill pack (after his marketing skills), aimed at the solo founder's own work rather than marketing. Each of the 23 skills is a written workflow your agent follows and saves to disk:…

Step by step
Open the GitHub repo and skim the routing table that says which skill to use for which job.
Install it with npx skills add coreyhaines31/makerskills, or in Claude Code /plugin marketplace add coreyhaines31/makerskills then /plugin install makerskills@makerskills.
Set MAKERSKILLS_CONFIG in your shell profile as INSTALL.md shows (that folder holds your own settings and saved results).
Start with /decide, which needs no setup, then try /castmate test codex before handing real jobs to another model.
Watch out for
Results and notes are written to disk in your config folder, so keep it out of shared repos. castmate can give another CLI write access when you allow it, and the author notes Gemini is only told, not forced, to stay in the project folder. Never paste API keys into the chat.

Which AI agents can use makerskills?
It works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. The code is on GitHub at coreyhaines31/makerskills.
