What it does

Reads an app's source and builds it a proper command-line tool with JSON output and tests, so your agent runs GIMP, Blender, LibreOffice and others by command instead of clicking.

Inside the repo

Step by step

1. Open the GitHub repo and read the README.
2. Try a ready-made tool first: pip install cli-anything-hub, then cli-hub search image and cli-hub install gimp (the real app must be installed too).
3. To build a new one in Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add HKUDS/CLI-Anything, then /plugin install cli-anything. For Codex, run the install script in codex-skill/ as the README shows and restart Codex.
4. Point it at an app: /cli-anything ./gimp, then /cli-anything:refine ./gimp "more batch filters" to fill gaps.
