What it does

Records what your agent does in each session, turns it into short summaries and feeds the useful parts back into the next session, with a search tool for past work.

Claude-Mem seamlessly preserves context across sessions by automatically capturing tool usage observations, generating semantic summaries, and making them available to future sessions.

Step by step

1. Open the GitHub repo and read the README.
2. Install with: npx claude-mem install (add --ide cursor, opencode or another value for other agents).
3. To stay fully free and skip sign-in, pass an explicit --provider flag (for example your own key or your current plan).
4. Work as usual, then ask your agent what it did last time on this project to see the memory in action.
